While every project is different, below are some broad categories that outline the scope of our work.
New Home Construction
For some it may be a once in a lifetime chance at your forever home and for others it may be the second home where you dream of spending your days. Building a home from the ground up is something we all dream of. It is also one of the largest investments we will ever make.
At J.E. Hale we take that decision as seriously as you do. We want you to have the best possible experience while achieving your goals and still maintaining your budget. We will guide you on the straightest path from your idea to a finished project. As builders and project managers we can handle all aspects of your new construction project and allow you the freedom to make choices where and when you want – and leave the rest to us.
Remodels and Renovations of Any Size
While you may think a renovation and a remodel are the same thing – by definition they are quite different.
Remodeling means that you are changing the character of a house or a portion of a house. That can be repurposing a room for a new use – converting a home office into a bedroom. Another example would be to combine 2 rooms to make one larger room – combining your den with your kitchen to make a larger eat-in kitchen.
Renovating is quite different. It literally means to make new again without changing your footprint. Updating your out-of-date kitchen or bathroom. Replacing old windows with new ones.
Whether you are embarking on a renovation or a remodel you can drastically change the overall appearance of your home. We can help you achieve your vision with your budget in mind. Work can also be phased to fit budget constraints or to allow you to live in your home while work is going on.
Home and Camp Additions
Do you find your home or camp lacking space? Do you want to add a sun room or a large master suite? Is it time to move a loved one into your home to better care for them? These, and many more, are all great reasons to consider an addition to your home. The possibilities are endless when it comes to additions.
Additions come in all shapes and sizes.
– A garage to keep your cars (and toys) clean and dry all year long.
– A deck to cookout (and hangout) with friends and family in the summer time.
– A screened in porch to keep the bugs away.
You can count on us. Our attention to detail and level of craftsmanship can be seen at any scale. We take pride in every job we do. We will work efficiently and effectively to get you that extra space that you are in need of.
Acid Stained Concrete Floors and Concrete Work
Acid stained floors are durable, once they are stained, you forget about it. It won’t fade away, chip off like most wooden floor surfaces do.
Acid stained floors are very easy to maintain. You can wax in a while if you like, but that doesn’t mean that it will fade away if you fail to do so, it only means that you are being mindful of your floor. You can also wipe off any spills without much trouble.
Unlike carpeted floors, acid stained floors are sealed with solid acrylic sprays, making it impossible for allergens, mites and pollens to penetrate through. So they improve the hygiene of your home as well.
Because they are permanent floors, they are very cost effective. Apart from the initial cost of installation, you’ll never incur unnecessary expenses related to damages because these floors are not given room for any damage.
They bring style to your living room in a way you won’t believe. The acid-based chemicals penetrate into the concrete particles on the floor to react with lime hence creating unique patterns.
The finishing touches on any construction project (renovation, remodeling, or restoration projects) can make or break the final design. We will work with you to make sure your interior and exterior finishes look and work perfectly so you can enjoy them for years to come.
Finishing touches can include: Trim, Siding, Cabinetry, Tile, Hardwood Flooring, Painting, Decking, Window and Door Replacement, Roofing, Insulation (Foam, Celulose, Fiberglass).
